Steve & Nic's Dolomite - "Ada"

Model: Sprint
Year: 1979
Colour: Brooklands Green
Info: Our recent acquisition is a Dolomite Sprint called Ada. She's a 1979 Sprint in Brooklands Green having only covered 48,000 since new. Originally a BL managers scheme company car it was then bought by the staff member and run until 1989 until it was laid up for 16 years. She was re-commissioned in 2005-2006 and sold to its second owner near Mansfield before coming into our care in July of 2009. Ada has been modified in the suspension department with AVO gas adjustable shocks and stiffer springs so the handling is very firm. The engine is the 2 Litre 16V unit with a sports exhaust and filters, otherwise as standard. There's some bodywork to get sorted out which will involve a little welding and painting but she is basically sound and tidy. Not intended to be a concourse car! Hmmm...
