The Triumph Sports Six Club Manchester Area Welcomes You!
We are a friendly (and some would say mad!) group of Triumph Classic Car enthusiasts from the north west of England, and are your local group for the Triumph Sports Six Club, the national organisation dedicated to the preservation and appreciation of all Triumph cars. Our cars include Spitfires, Stags, Vitesses, Heralds, GT6s, and TRs, with new cars being added all the time! They are in all conditions from dismantled donor cars and projects, to award-winning beauties.
We get together monthly on the first Tuesday of every month, and on many other occasions and events throughout the year too. Our calendar is always packed with events - we regularly attend national shows, and also organise our own trips and rallies. Our meetings are held at Barton Aerodrome in Manchester, and are informal and well attended by members and curious non-members alike! We have a short "club talk" session, then have a drink and chat until we either leave or get thrown out... you can be sure of a warm welcome and a laugh, and we welcome anyone with an interest or passion for Triumphs (you don't need to own one nor be a member!).

Manchester is a city born of the Industrial Revolution. It took the lead in the world's textile manufacture and production in the late 18th century, a position it held until its decline in the 1960s. Leaders of commerce, science and technology, like John Dalton and Samuel Arkwright, helped create a vibrant and thriving economy - most of the nation's wealth was created in this region during Victorian times.
But it was undoubtedly textiles, and other associated trades, which dominated and created a young dynamic city. The worker bee is a symbol of this hard working past and is part of the city's coat of arms. You can also see the emblem repeated in mosaics all over the floor of the Town Hall.
